When: September 12, from 10am – 2pm
Where: On 161st Street between Downtown Redmond Park and the Redmond Central Connector Park (16101 NE Redmond Way)

What can I expect?

Let’s Move Redmond is an Open Street Festival that promotes healthy, active transportation by transforming 161st Street into a place where people can bike, walk, scoot, roll and play. Let’s Move Redmond is an event that celebrates local businesses, community organizations and fosters civic pride in our streets.

There will be a pop-up protected bike lane, kid’s bike rodeo, community organizations, opportunities to play, learn, and connect with community.

What will be happening?

Activities at Downtown Redmond Park 10:30 AM Yoga with Jessica from 425 Fitness on the Great Lawn; 11:30 AM AKT Dance Fitness on the Boardwalk; 12:00 PM Flamenco Dance with Semilla Flamenca at the Pavilion; 12:30 PM Salsa & tango with Broira Ballroom Dance at the Pavilion; 1:30 Rollerskate Dance Party with Sea Skates at the West End of the Park
Illustrated map of Downtown Redmond Park, 161st Street and Redmond Central connector park. There will be activities at Redmond Central Connector Park and in Downtown Redmond Park. Along 161st will be a pop up protected bike lane. The Kids bike rodeo will happen on Cleveland Street in front of Downtown Redmond Park. Bathrooms in Downtown Redmond Park.

Covid-19 precautions: Community safety is the highest priority for our team. We will be in compliance with all guidance from the CDC and the Washington State Public Health Department. If you are experiencing any symptoms of Coivid-19 the day of the event please stay home.

To support health and safety we will be taking the following measures:

  • Encourage mask use, with masks available for those who need them
  • Have hand sanitizer stations throughout the event
  • Limit participation at activities to maintain social distance
