Please read these Terms and Privacy Policy carefully before submitting your video entry to our contest. By participating, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and privacy practices:

1. Eligibility

Participants must be 18 years of age or younger.

Open to K-12 students living in Bellevue and Lake Washington School Districts

Limit one entry per student; no group entries.

All entrants are required to have their parent or legal guardian’s consent to participate in the contest.

2. Video Submission

The video submission must be the original work of the student entrant.

Videos must adhere to the contest theme and guidelines provided.

Videos that contain inappropriate content or violate any laws will be disqualified.

3. Parental Consent

Parents or legal guardians must grant consent for their child to participate in the contest.

Consent is given upon submission.

4. Data Collection

We may collect personal information from participants, including their name, age, contact details, and parent/guardian information.

This information will only be used for the purpose of the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

5. Video Ownership

Participants retain ownership of their video entries but grant the contest organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the videos for contest-related purposes.

6. Winner Selection

Contest winners will be selected based on the judging criteria specified in the contest rules.

The decision of the judges is final and binding.

7. Prizes

Prizes may be awarded to contest winners, as specified in the official rules.

Prizes are subject to eligibility and compliance with the rules.

8. Publicity and Promotion

By participating, winning entrants and their parents/guardians grant us permission to use their name, likeness, and video content on Sound Transit’s social media channels.

9. Security and Data Protection

We will take reasonable steps to protect the personal information provided during the contest and adhere to data protection laws and regulations.

10. Changes and Updates

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms and privacy practices. Any changes will be posted on our website.
