2 Line Crosslake Connection Opening Celebration
Mark your calendars for March 28th and join us as we celebrate a historic light rail connection! The Crosslake Connection completes the 2 Line with a monumental achievement of light rail crossing a floating bridge. The 2 line connects Lynnwood, Shoreline, Seattle, Mercer Island, Bellevue, and Redmond by light rail. Thousands of transit riders will also be able to transfer and connect to the 1 Line (which runs from Federal Way to Lynnwood) via the International District Station. This new connection will not only expand access to schools, businesses, healthcare, and opportunities across the region, but it will also allow for riders to have more flexibility in how they get around.
Celebrate with Move Redmond at the Mercer Island Station Celebration from 10 AM – 2 PM.

We made a pocket-sized map to help you connect on the Eastside by light rail, walking, rolling, and transit and serve as a resource for everyone looking to access light rail without the need for a car. Our new Station Access Map will now include the Mercer Island Station and updated transit information.

Want to get involved? Volunteer with us!
Move Redmond is looking for volunteer support to staff the Move Redmond booth at the Mercer Island station celebration on Saturday, March 28th. This is a great opportunity to get involved and connect with community members and celebrate the new 2 Line Crosslake Connection. We need support with setting up the Move Redmond Booth, staffing during the event, and cleaning up after the event.
