Join us for the 4th Annual Downtown Open Streets Festival, celebrating the power of pedestrianized streets! The fun begins August 17th from 10am to 3pm located at the Downtown Park into Cleveland St and 161st Ave NE. Check out free performances, activities, and, connect with local community groups. Experience a lively atmosphere as we take over the streets, with an estimated 1,500+ attendees throughout the event creating a vibrant hub of connectivity. How To Get to Downtown Redmond Open Streets Festival

From Overlake By Transit

Need help planning your bus route to our Downtown Redmond Open Streets Festival? We got you covered! Grab your ORCA card and tap on the 545, 542, or B line for a direct route to Redmond Transit Center. From there, head west towards 161st Ave NE and make left towards Redmond Way. Listen for the music and you will reach the Downtown Redmond Open Streets Festival. 

Not coming from Overlake? Other transit routes that serve Redmond Transit Center are bus route  221 and  250, .  

By Trail

Enjoy the scenic route by biking along 520 trail and connecting to the Sammamish River Trail. Once you reach Leary Way, turn right and then left onto the Heron Rookery Trail. Continue on the Heron Rookery Trail until you reach Bear Creek Parkway and 161st Ave NE. Follow the music down on 161st Ave and you will arrive at our Downtown Redmond Open Streets Festival! 

Alternatively, you can also connect to the Redmond Central Connector from the Sammamish River trail, take the pedestrian overpass, and turn left on 161st Ave NE and you will arrive at our Downtown Redmond Open Streets Festival!

Need to Drive?

If you need to drive to our Open Streets Festival, that’s okay- we understand sometimes driving is the only option depending on your schedule. Consider making your trip multimodal by parking at either the South Bellevue Park & Ride or Redmond Technology Station and take the b line, 542, or 545.

Parking (First two hours are free, $1/hr after) is available at the Redmond Connector Parking Lot on the corner of Leary Way and Bear Creek Pkwy, the entrance is off of Bear Creek Pkwy.  Additional downtown parking information can be found at Downtown Parking | Redmond, WA.
